NOTICE
New changes for Demolition Derby
1. Suspension modifications on front of car, blocking/ locking or solid front suspension are permitted this
year. (front suspension only)
However there is a bumper height maximum on new or slightly used cars, Height maximum is 27 inches at
top front of bumper. Bumper height will be measured from level ground to top of the tallest part of front
bumper.
2. All demolition derby cars shall be subjected to level II inspection.
Level II Inspection consists of:
1. Complete visual: for compliance of rules. Frame, body tires, suspension, and drive trans.
2. Frame inspection: holes will be cut in frame in at least 2 places for signs of hidden reinforcement.
3. All inspections shall be conducted by M80 officials only. No one other than M80 officials may attend
inspection.
4. Inspection results may be circulated to other promoters and venues.
5. Failure to pass or complete inspection will result in driver and his/her cars be prohibited from competing
in future events.
Inspection shall be between the hours of 9:00am- 5:30pm day of show only. No inspections after 5:30pm
on race day. No cars may compete without an official inspection.
